MAD is a lounge bar inspired by the Golden Age of Advertising, the age that brought out some of the most revered and famous advertisers.
Some of the big agencies that came to power during this period were David Ogilvy (of Volkswagon fame), Leo Burnett, and of course Don Draper, the fictional character of TV show Mad Men. Most of them were located right here in Madison Avenue, New York City.
